Why is the Palmetto Community Land Trust (PCLT) the solution for Charleston?
In our rapidly growing city, housing is becoming increasingly unaffordable. The PCLT is the only affordable housing program that provides permanently affordable housing in the greater Charleston region for local households who cannot otherwise afford to buy or rent a quality home in today’s real estate market.
What is a CLT?
A community land trust is a nonprofit, community-based organization, with a mission to provide permanent affordable housing by owning land and leasing it to those who live in houses built on that land
