Battery Avenue
November 3, 2021
A beautiful ribbon cutting ceremony was held at 963 Battery Avenue to announce that the historic Ashleyville lot will soon become an affordable single-family home!
963 Battery Avenue is a joint effort of the Palmetto Community Land Trust (a program of Charleston Redevelopment Corporation), Historic Charleston Foundation and the City of Charleston, all of whom are working together to address our city’s affordable housing needs.
Funding for this project was made possible by a grant from the 1772 Foundation, without whom, this work would not be possible.
